Samantha Gordon

Samantha came to Hope Island Dental Care Care in 2007 as a work experience student. She enjoyed her time here so much that she decided to become a dental assistant! While still at school she commenced her traineeship with us one day a week and upon leaving school continued her study to qualify for her certificate 3 in dental assisting. Samantha enjoys looking after people, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly during your visit. Her friendly and caring approach always puts her patient at ease. Away from the clinic Samantha loves spending time with her horses and her dog, going to the beach, and seeing movies with her friends.

Shannon Carter

Shannon came to Hope Island Dental Care Care as a school leaver, keen to work in the dental field. She now has been a valued team member for five years, and during that time has completed her certificate three in dental assisting, and is keen to obtain more qualifications in the future. Shannon’s skills, experience and knowledge provide assurance that you are receiving the best dental care possible. Her focus is upon making her patient comfortable and at ease, whilst performing her clinical role to exacting standards.
During her time away from work, Shannon enjoys playing with her two dogs and horse riding, keeping fit, going to the beach and movies.

Cherie Haycock

Cherie’s cheerful smile is your welcome to Hope Island Dental Care Care. If you need to contact us she is the friendly face on the end of the line who will answer all enquiries and schedule appointments. Cherie has been a part of the team for six years and brings over nine years experience to our practice. She is a qualified dental assistant having completed certificate 3 in assisting. She has also attained certificate 5 in radiography. On the management side she has been awarded a Diploma of Practice Management from The University of New England. You really couldn’t ask for a better qualified person to keep the practice running smoothly and all our patients well looked after. In her other life she loves to be with family and friends, cooking and entertaining. She is also interested in keeping fit, doing pilates and walking her dog (who is very spoilt)!
